Prof. Ram Niwas Panday believes Khas are descendants of Thapa Magars of Dullu Dailekh. Khas are also known as Thakuris.
---------------------- This guy Panday is just a Fai-futti, not a historian. Khas descents of Thapa magar, what a joke? Khas kings are mentioned in Dwapar Yug, Mahabharata war and he is telling descents of Thapa Magars. It could be other ways, like Thapa Maga/Chhetri surname given by Khas Malla Kings. Khas Kings were always in cooperation Magar Rajautas and bulk of Khas armies. Khas Empire was a legendry which gave us Khas castes (Bahuns, Chhetris, Thakuris, Sanyasis, Kami, Sarkis, Dmais, Badis, gaines etc.) and a great language Khas-kura or Nepali. Do not confuse us with baseless stories. Guest
