The 110th birth anniversary of Master Mitrasen Thapa Magar, an entertainment /Singer Musician, litt�rateur and social reference who died in 1946 was observed on January 8 2005 in Kathmandu the function organized by the Master Mitrasen committee was attended by Honorable Bhim Kumari Budha Magar assistant Minister for culture , truism and civil aviation as chief guest.

The chairman of the committee Mr. Trilok Singh Thapa Magar presided over into function one of the highlights of the function was Mr garjnba being honored for singing melodiously the Master's popular songs while the committee's adviser Dr. Astha B. Budha Magar recalled the Master's a poet and singer of the people, former ambassador Prof. Mohan P. Lohani described the Master as an outstanding singer and musician who made a significant contribution to Nepali literature from the Indian social Prof. Lohani said Master Mitrasen had elevate the moral and cultural level of Nepal society to a new height through his songs, literary works and transaction of great writers of the work.

Further the chair Mr. T. S. Thapa hoped that the Magar Committee grow produce a new Mitrasen who like the Late Master world sing for the restore him of peace in the Country how deadly him by continuing acts of violent and term. The function was proved by a cultural program.
