Discipline is a Leader of Humans |
Belsing Gaha Thapa Magar Butwal 10, Nepal.
A chance would be a fine thing, so I have begun to mull over various possibilities for a new creation from my thought. It is like a magic wand because from one word of discipline that can cover all elementary ideas of management:
D : Destruction should be avoided. I : Instructions should be complied strictly. S : Sincerity should be shown always. C : Co-ordination is required. I : Interests should be increased. P : Principles should be followed. L : Leader should be confident. I : Internal co-operation is to be maintained. N : Notorious activity is totally forbidden. E : Effective actions should be taken.
Of course, you cannot sip soup with a knife ... and you even cannot lead your family without discipline. Discipline is like a 'tough nut to crack' in principle, but in practice, it is just a rule of law that we have to follow for a smooth function in human activities. A quality makes a good impression, honesty earns a good reputation, but trustworthiness itself stands as a person. After all, they are basic roots of the discipline.
In reality, the term of the discipline is a phenomenal tool to lead people on earth and save the world. Due to this, people should be taught the discipline under fear of severe punishment. In army, it is also needed to be an honest and loyal soldier by following laws and orders strictly (a good code of conduct). To be a disciplined soldier, he has to go with others under a rigorous recruit training before assigning him on military duty independently. It is because a soldier is made to learn how to keep pace with others during march, how to do duty punctually, how to salute and obey orders. All such habits of observing rules are called a physical outer discipline of the body, but forming habits of speaking the truth, politeness, honesty and respecting others are also called a discipline of the mind.
The soldier in the army always works in a team of a unit: a section, platoon, company, battalion, etc. in hierarchical orders. The main responsibility of the army is to protect its ruler and the nation. By guarding the palace and in the international borders, as to see and catch any invaders, illegal migrants or even to fight against enemies. Under certain circumstances, the army has to play a special role for keeping an internal peace, like the Maoist insurgencies in Nepal. In fact, the discipline is really a key factor because without it a battalion of troops cannot be commanded by a commandant officer, a brigade by brigadier, etc.
A function of a security guard is as like that of a police personnel within the premises of an organization. Therefore, the guard should be well trained; he should also be a man of clear thinking and react quickly in the case of emergency. On top of that, the security guard should have 'one hundred eyes' on his body to see all round and give timely information to his superior about any danger from both outside and inside elements. The determination of the security guard should run through his nature and he should have full knowledge in the protection of all kinds of property from loss by theft, fraud, fire, vandalism and other forms of damage and waste. All these can be fulfilled through the discipline only.
